Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
I received a call this morning that my friend's grand daughter was in surgery and her dog sitter was not available. Could I watch them, unknown how long? So, of course, I have two more dogs. We were in the car for five hours today (with two walks, one in the rain) and my dogs were delighted when we got home with new playmates. I guess the little practice with four dogs when I put out the word that I needed a rescue was good practice. Four? No problem.

How kind of you to help out, I'm sure it makes it much easier for your friend knowing that the dogs are with you.
Oh, yes, she knows our house is set up for the dogs.
:-} Have fun!
Way to go Lynda. Enjoy!
How nice of you to help out Lynda! You are a good friend! I'm sure all the dogs are loving it too!
Good for you! Bet it is fun being surrounded by doodle love--what a good friend you are!
I can relate to the multiple doodle situation---I have three doodles and I have a fourth doodle staying here for 6 weeks while she raises her 6 puppies--so for six weeks, I have had ten dogs in the house--I am pooped! The momma goes home in a week and I will be glad to have "only" three adults and 6 pups--it is fun though!
Well, one of the dogs is an ALD and the others are all rescues from the SPCA and rescue organizations. All three are small (under 25 pounds) and last night all three of them were on our bed. I guess you could say we are surrounded with love, just not doodle love.
You are a good friend indeed.
I'm jealous. I love the multi-dog energy. But it does take a lot of work and dedication.
It's nice that you can help out.
That's so kind of you. It means a lot to know that your dog(s) are being cared for buy someone you trust and who will give them love while you're away.
Very generous of you as four is a pack! I havent had 4 in awhile, but when I do, its usually 4 BIG dogs. Mostly 60+ pound doodles. Thank goodness they all don't try to sleep with us.
Have fun and yes, this is very good practice. 3 will seem easy after this, if you get a rescue later.
