Happy Fall from the Doodle Brothers!

Just another thank you to this great community for helping me with Jake. We are all still adjusting but it looks like these two are going to be ok living together. They both love hanging with their people and each other. The puppy I wanted from my breeder in January is still in play so we might end up being a 3 doodle family.

Currently, Brisby is in training classes and I am enrolling Jake. Brisby's ultimate goal (at least my hope) is advanced obedience training and pediatric therapy when he matures. Maybe Jake will be my agility dog. He's pretty springy. LOL! Of course these are long term goals but I find that individual training classes help give me special bonding time with each dog.

We took both boys to Petco and Lowes this weekend. Brisby knows the drill but it was Jakes first time. They both did great. Brisby did want to protect Jake against other barking dogs but hey, its just another great training opportunity I wouldn't have if we only had 1 dog.

I look forward to everyone's posts here. Ill be hanging out in the obedience, therapy, multiple doodles and food and grooming forums too.

Why do pumpkins make the doodles look even cuter? I don't know. But your guys are gorgeous and I'm so happy it seems to be working out for you. I love that Brisby wanted to protect Jake!

Jenn, I want to thank you for rescuing Jake from an abusive situation and giving him the kind of loving home every dog deserves. We are happy to have you and the boys here.

I love the pictures of your doodles together. The black/white theme is so striking! :) It sounds like you have some wonderful plans for their future. I wish I could read Jake's mind and know what he thinks about all the changes he's experienced recently and how great life is now.
