Ok, so I'm a very observent person, and I still missed Tess changing from her baby teeth to adult teeth. I can't believe it! I'm in her face everyday cleaning her eyes, trimming around them, talking and loving her....and still, never saw one fall out or any gaps. With all our other dogs we noticed something! Tess is now 6 1/2 months old and I do remember back a month or so..... what great teeth she has.....and how perfectly straight they where.... and how they give her that doggie smile :))  I told my DH and he said "NO WAY! How did she do it????

Zach was a shark - so I was obsessed with puppy teeth, and counting the weeks until he lost them, but I still missed his transition to his adult incisors (my vet pointed them out to me!). I did find 3 canines. One was stuck in a bloody ball during a game of fetch, and he spit 2 molars (on separate occasions) into my hand when I noticed he was rolling something around in his mouth. I thought that his teething would be a really big deal but I didn't notice any signs that he was in discomfort, at some point he just stopped biting me and my other dogs and low and behold - he has these  big beautiful teeth.

That's funny! She did stop bitng us long ago, and she did start more chewing ( on things that were not hers) but that has been after she got her adult teeth, not before or during.

I just love looking for lost baby teeth!  I found 9 of Lily's and keep them in her puppy book!  DH would be playing with her and he would come and show me what he found.  So I did have help finding them.  You still might find one on carpet, since they stick in pretty good.  I hope you find one!

We did the same although we found lots more of Myla's then Chloe's!

Maybe I should start looking in my DH's office, where they play pretty hard while I'm at work....:)

Oh goodness, I remember finding teeth all over the house lol!

We have with all previous dogs, but none with Tess. With Tess we haven't done as much tug of war playing, but still, it's really weird that we never saw even one. I'm thinking she had to have swallowed most of them.

I too missed Cooper loosing all of her teeth :(

A least I'm not the only one :) I just keep wondering what was taking her so long. Then after really checking, these perfect teeth were no longer the pointed sharp ones..... she had been biting us with when she was a new pup.

My pup swallowed just about all of them. It happens fast. I do remember his tongue lolling out of the side of his mouth because his adult canines were not in yet and didn't hold the tongue in.

That's funny! I'm thinking Tess must have swallowed all of them!

Sedona's now 2 1/4, so she lost her puppy teeth long ago; we found several of them at the time.  Just this past week, we took a short trip in our RV.  By my seat, I keep a plastic bag filled with travel sized hand lotions, chap stick, etc.  While I was digging for the chap stick, I ran across something else - one of Sedona's molars!  It obviously came out on a previous trip and I stuck it in the bag for safe keeping!
