I saw a lady walking two doodles on the way home today. I say to her, "oh what cuties, they're doodles right?" She says in the snootiest tone, "NO, they're miniature, Australian labradoodles." She was so offended. WTH?

I ALWAYS tell people Stuart is a rescue.  I am hoping that when people are admiring my dogs (Stuart gets lots of attention) that I am helping to educate them that there are wonderful dogs out there that are in desperate need of homes.  Not an ego thing at all.

Whoa, how annoying!  On the trail by our house, before we got Milton, I heard one man refer to his doodle as a "designer dog."  My husband and I were both like give me a break.  Then we had to shell out the big bucks for the Milt, and we somewhat agree...

I like to say that my doodles are "glorifed mutts"--it helps break the ice when I can tell that people are about to slam me with "oh, it's a mutt"--that has happened to me twice and both people were nasty---one was just overhearing my conversation with another person--I just don't get it! But there are way more times that people have been happy to meet a doodle.

Doodle shmoodle who cares? they are all individuals all wonderful.  I have one ALD and will have one F1 Goldendoodle soon... I won't care a jot about their labels only their health and the cuddles that come with them.

Some people are just snobs, she is making it sound like her "doodles" are better that other doodles.   ALL DOGS ARE AWESOME !!!  :)
