Stay safe - always use a leash if you do go outside, in case Midas freaks at something. Have food, vaccination papers ,etc packed for Midas in case you have to leave in a hurry.
I was thinking that one of the potty devices around might be good to have for times like this.

I feel for you! I know Trav would still potty outside even if he had to do it in a few inches of water, but if you really get stuck indoors, I'd try for the handsful of leaves in a garage or bathroom. Good luck, stay safe and leashed!
Been thinking about you guys and wondering if all is okay with you? Hope the storm didn't affect you too badly. Please let us know how you are when you can!
Ginny, I would be surprised if they have power yet. Hopefully we will hear something soon.
I know this is too late for Sandy, but I asked my BFF who lives in Florida what she does and her plan is AWESOME. She buys a square of sod every time a big storm is coming and puts it in the garage or laundry.
Her dog knows to grow on grass so happily uses it when the weather is too severe to go outside. Very smart IMO!
Jennett--sure seems like a brilliant idea to me!
