Too cute!
Funny! He does look like a little lion. My husband said that probably the owner was cited with a leash law for letting his "little lion" run free.
Even made the Aussie morning news, with all our fires and hot weather I think people needed a laugh.

What an adorable little doodle!
This dood just showed up on our local news here in Newfoundland. He is pretty adorable.
Listen to the audio of the 911 callers: http://www.wavy.com/dpp/news/crime/audio-911-callers-report-seeing-...
I have been following the posts here, other forums and on AOL. I think that this is an interesting story but I do think it does put the dog at risk. If people are mistaking him for a dangerous lion there is no telling what their reaction may be. This may put both the dog in danger and the people mistaking him for a lion.
Yes - I am the killjoy to this discussion - sorry
I do somewhat agree, I didn't like in the video how they were trying to get him to climb up a tree... They also seemd to be "riling him up" at one point trying to get him to jump up on the people. Also int he video the dad says that the daughter didn't like him till he was famous and that now she wants the dog back. He looks like he is quite happy. And they dye his mane, so I hope that is done safely and properly...
clearly he shouldn't be free to wander the streets (like it sounds like in many cases, he was). Leash and collar and human companion is a requirement...
Ned wants to be a lion also. Clancy says he doesn't have time right now, he is chasing lizards.
