WANTED: BODYGUARD TO PUT MY BROTHER IN HIS PLACE!!

Hi Everybody, Fudge here and I have a big problem. The big problem's name is Vern and he weighs 91 pounds. I am getting sick and tired of him pouncing on me every chance he gets.  When mom tells us to get in the van or dad's car, Vern always jumps in first and guards the doorway. 

My mom says, "Fudge, hurry up and get in the van," but, I know when I do Vern is going to tackle me. So, someone always has to come around to the door and make Vern move to let me in, but then they close the door and sure enough, Vern starts trying to wrestle with me. He is really getting on my nerves and I think he is a big turkey.

Lately, when we get let out into the yard to do our business, Vern pushes right out in front of me and then, you guessed it, he turns around and tries to swing me around by my collar.  Sure, he gets in trouble, but he never seems to care. Something has to be done soon.

When my human sister was home the other weekend, she tried to give me some hugs and cuddles and Vern tried to horn in on the action. I got mad and tried to scare him, but he thought I wanted to show our sister how we wrestle.

Well, today is the day I am going to do something about Vern and I hope someone can help me. Just ask yourself if you would like to see this running full speed at you.

Also, I know everyone thinks Vern is so cute, but he is double my size.

So, here is what I am looking for in the way of a bodyguard.

Bodyguard must be willing to live on the premises, escort me to the car, stop Vern from plowing into to me when my humans are trying to give me some hugs and kisses, and most of all stop this behavior:

Roo, I can't stand goody two shoes. They always get us in trouble, but maybe I need to be a little nicer to Fudge, because I am tired of getting in trouble. Maybe I will just jump on her when mom isn't around. I just love to wrestle and get carried away, I guess. You sound cool! Your friend, Vern

I loved this! It is just how are doodles are. Riley weighs 66 pounds and Lexi weighs 28. Riley always has to be first to go out the door, first in the car and has this need for wrestling. He behaves just like Vern and Lexi must feel like Fudge. Such creative writing and cute pics to go with it! I enjoyed it so much!

Thank you, Robin. Fudge is only 46 pounds and Vern is 91 pounds. Riley sounds like Vern and poor Lexi is even smaller than Fudge. Lexi needs a bodyguard, too. Maybe I should send Vern...LOL!

Dear Fudge:  Sorry your bro is such a bully!  Sounds like you're much too polite to just give him a serious thumping, so guess you'll just have to rely on your humans to separate you sometimes and give YOU the attention you deserve!  My big bro isn't living with me right now, but I had a couple of safe places to go when he got wild.  I could get between the table and the wall, and he wouldn't follow me there, or I'd run into my crate and he didn't follow me there either!  Mostly though, he just ignored me, so sometimes I'd have to jump on him and get the whole wrestling thing going.  Then I'd run and hide.  Do you run and hide?  Love, Trav

Trav, I like to jump on Vern sometimes. I guess I like to wrestle with him, but only when I instigate it :) Sometimes, my mom jumps in to help me and I jump on Vern to say, "ha ha, you just got in trouble." I hardly ever run and hide, but sometimes I do run into the house when he gets really wild. Thank you for all of your concern! Love, Fudge

There's a 45 lb difference between Fudge and Vern, so they are definitely in the running, too.

I thought there would be more of a weight difference. Fudge's weight is deceptive, because she is so tall, but when she is wet, she is such a tiny thing.

Last we checked Stuart weighed in at 68 lbs - I'm guessing he is in the low 70's now - Rooney recently gained a 1/5 pd so he is 22 lbs.    So we are looking at close to a 50 lbs difference - but I think Stuart is still growing.
