Our doodle does backyard agility for now. She is just 10 weeks we r thinking about entering her in public classes when she gets older.

Thanks Denise!!! I am really proud of her... she just really surprised me. I knew she would be good but I worried about the social aspect with other dogs... and she managed off leash just fine!

Meadow graduated her beginner Agility class with flying colours!!! SHe was the only dog not to miss an obstacle on the final night. She LOVES it and is a totally different dog altogether since we started. So now we have joined the club so we can go to practices regularly. Lots of fun!

OMG I really do have two left feet...lol we are learning front crosses and back crosses, and how to read the course we might compete on, and after we practice on the course for a little...they reverse the sides of the jumps and Hannah does great, but ME...I screw her up all the time. (Like you have 3 and 5...5 will be jump 3 and 3 becomes 5 reversed with cones). I do okay when working off of my right side, but for some reason and could be the disability the left side does not do as well...Hannah has really improved at agility also and I'm so glad we didn't give up...we have a long way to go...but we will get there.

Gracie and I have been to our first class. The height of jumps depends on the size and age of your dog. Also, our first day was rainy so the class was inside. We did use a smaller version of the A frame to learn on there. I' don't know if we would have used the full size or not if we had been outside. We had a blast and Gracie aced everything we tried that day!!!

Congrats Nancie and Gracie! Great pictures.
Long fuselage! I love it. lol My son built Murphy's weave poles. He has a picture where (counting his tail) he is touching 4 poles!
My friend says "H's no F-16. More of a 747" lol

I was watching times Easter weekend at an AKC excellent event.
They were in the 30-40 second range. Great time Gracie Doodle!

Congrats Nancie and Gracie!!! Your pictures are really good. I had a papion in my class last session, and it was amazing how fast they are.

Yeah...Gracie Doodle graduated last week from her Agility Class!!! I'm sure all the circuits are different but Gracie did hers in 58 seconds where all the other dogs were 2 or more minutes. Many were in the 3 minute zone. The only dog that beat her was a tiny Papion who did it in 41 seconds!!! Not bad though for a big 73+ pound Doodle with a long fuselage...lol She loves the tunnels the most! I had to go out and buy her a 19 ft. tunnel and some other stuff for the back yard. :)
