I just joined the group. Lucy and I have started agility foundation classes (2 down), and so far she seems to be a fearless natural at it. Foundation, of course, is very fundamental, but all indications are she'll have no fears/issues. I wish I could fast forward to being beyond foundation and onto the real meat of the sport. Ah well... all in good time. Glad I joined this group!

Lori...that is an awesome picture of Maggie.  Thanks for sharing!!  Our private lesson went VERY well today....as did dock diving.  She was so cute jumping in!!  I wish I had pictures.  We have never tried lure coursing...I'm going to have to check that out.  Tomorrow is our All day seminar with Karen.  I am going to be agilitied ( is that a word) out!!

I would like to try dock diving with Rua.  Though I was picturing a little different style of launching than Maggie!  LOL.  I don't think we have that here in Omaha!

Lori...the pleasure was mine.  It was really cool to meet!!  You and Maggie are a special team. You seem to have such a connection.  It was fun to watch the two of you.  We have Karen Holik seminars this week.  We have a private lesson, a full day seminar....and then we are auditing her agility puppy class.  Tomorrow we are trying dock diving for the first time.....have you tried it????

@Alex....My obedience teacher recommended an agility club...that is how we got started.  There are lots of fun agility skills you can start with a puppy.   You wont begin full height jumping until growth plates are closed.

@Katlyn....that cracks me up!!  You never know what those doodles are going to do.  Glad that Kaios is loving it.

I just finished my basic agility training with my silly dog Kaios. She's loving it and doing great but she will just randomly stop and stare at me like "I'm not doing that you cant make me" and it will be something simple like a low jump right after she did a high one! IDK what is up with her...

I'm interested in getting my doodle involved in agility but I don't even know where to start. She's only 5 months old now but I don't know at what age you start training and everything. We're from the Bucks County area of Pennsylvania. Any help would be great. Thanks

Great Job! Lori & Maggie!! Congratultions!!! I see Rally as doing the flat work for Agility, without the equipment. Dogs learn to read your body language and to follow you and go to the directions where you are heading.

I know it sonds wierd " Fun Obedience", but it really is a fun obedience :-)

"Fun Obedience"...sounds like an oxymoron!  I'll have to see if my training center does that!
