Hey guys there is a Labradoodle for adoption in Athens ( not really close 2 Atlanta,but in GA.) His name is Kirby and he is a black labradoodle. here is a little bit about him: Kirby is a neutered male Poodle/Lab mix. He's about 2 years old.

Kirby is a young dog with a lot of energy. He loves to play and would love to have a playful doggy friend in his new home. He can be a bit timid at first with new people, but he comes around with the right love and attention. He doesn't do well with small children, so he'd probably do best in an adult only household or one with older children. Kirby is being fostered with another dog and a cat and he gets along great with both of them.

We took Annie hiking up at Red Top Mountain in Georgia. She loved it we described it as Disney world for dogs. LOL!!!!! There was lots of fallen logs that Annie loved jumping, there is a lake with beaches, and lots of leaves for Annie to play in. There was a " Leaf Storm" . Annie tried to catch all the leaves. We saw lots of dogs , and Annie loved seeing them. We took her down to the beach to see if she liked water and......... SHE LOVED IT AND
WOULDN'T GET OUT. We finally got her out and she was exhausted ( the hike all together was 6 or more miles). We had to go to the Dog Spa for an emergency groom ( and a blueberry facial and massage,might I add). The lady there was soooo nice she stayed pass hours just to get Annie groomed.

Thanks for letting me know Carol! I might try the small bottle then just in case. I just need something that will be good for his skin (it's towards the dry side).

I want to buy some minksheen shampoo because I'm hearing such wonderful things about it! Does anyone in Atlanta sell it or do I have to buy it online?

I go to Dee's Grooming Gallery too! I have been very pleased! They know how to cut doodles and are very nice!! :)

Please be aware that Pet Gallery will shave, without permission!!!! I had been going to Pet Gallery for over 8 years, just a year with my doodle. they even spared him a shave when he got his adult coat. Then alas, I pick him up after a 'trim and shampoo' and he was shaved to the skin!!!!!!!!!!! I have heard from others that this has happened to breeds that should not be shaved. I was so shocked I went home and cried. I previously was very happy with their staff and their prices. Not worth the surprise!

I highly recommend the Pet Gallery on Collier Rd (if that's a reasonable distance for you). I started going there because a neighbor takes her labradoodle Emmet there and he always looks so cute. I've had Callie groomed there a bunch now and have always been pleased (and they cost less than PetSmart).

The first doodle romp pics were done by her.. She is young but a perfectionist in my opinion. She has cut other doodles prior to clipping mine. If you look on my photos the pics where he is laying on the tile floor shows the cut she did on him. My knew groomer is not near as good but I just can't go to Kennesaw every time.
