We had our first vet appointment today, and I was surprised that she didn't seem to have much awareness of Australian Labradoodles. She was surprised that our boy had been already neutered and didn't seem to have any familiarity with the characteristics of the Australian doodles. Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks so much Sallie! Yes that is a great dog park and I hope we have another romp in the fall (or maybe this summer?) Thank you for the info, I am looking for a good place to take B and D. I will be up that way today taking my bunnie to the vet, so I may check it out if I have time.
ps Welcome Ginny....congratulations on your new ALD Lyic!! Hope you post lots of pictures. We need to get a slide show up of all our wonderful ALD's, anyone up for this? lol
Joan, I want to start Agility (or maybe Rally O) with Brianna this summer, it sound like fun!!

We really enjoyed the romp. It was Sophie's 1st time at a dog park and she liked it so much, I know we will be back. Sophie's spa treatment is at Trim Time on Green Bay Rd. in Glendale and Jody grooms her.

Now that i have my second doodle a medium Australian labradoodle with a super soft and think coat--I can join this group! So far, Lyric is a doll and has a gorgeous coat, but when that puppy coat came out at nine months--she needed to get a very short haircut to deal with the mats. So she is short for the summer and loving it!

Welcome Sallie and Sophie!! It was so nice to see you guys at the WI Romp. The romps are so fun and such a nice time too. Can I ask what groomer you use? Sophie is so pretty, and she has such a lovely cut.
