I don't think I introduced ourselves. We are Brenda and Lucky. Lucky is a Tegan Park Australian Labradoodle Rehome!!! I know I can't believe it myself after getting aquainted with these dogs. He was not "a right fit' for the previous owners. I will never understand that one. He has been the best dog I have ever owned. He has been in my life for roughly 2+ years now and I can't imagine a better, faithful companion! I hope to learn more about the Australian and how it's different. But not only in blood lines because I know that already. :)

Hey, Ann, Kathy...group!

Thanks! I'm excited and having a lot of fun learning about all the different Doodles...especially the Australian Labradoodle. There seems to be soooo much info out there, such nice people, and a lot of passion and love for the dogs, which is the most important thing to me. I've been working hard to fit all this in between my work with the alpacas and all my alpaca clients! Yikes! It's like living in two worlds! LOL!

Wren - no problem - knowledge is power and this is a great place to find out about ALD's. They are wonderful - I researched for about 2 yrs before getting Wally and he was worth the wait but now I want more! Good luck!

Hey group -

I hope it's alright for me to join this group even though I haven't yet gotten my first Australian Labradoodle. Please let me know if anyone here would prefer I wait (?). I'm just trying to learn all I can whenever and wherever I can and this seems like a good place to be for such research. I recognize some of the names as I've written to some of you with questions and an introduction. I'm replying as soon as I can. I'm so glad to have found this cool community communication site (LabradoodleKisses.com)!

To Sally and Echo, Echo's eyes should remain the color they are now.

Brought my little labradoodle home last Saturday and I am totally smitten! He is so sweet and playful and cuddly! I have a silly question if anybody knows the answer I would be very appreciative. Echo has a liver nose, paw pads, lips and around his eyes. His eyes are green (hazel). He is 9 weeks old. Will he keep this eye color? They are just beautiful and I love the color so I hope they are for keeps! Thanks so much!

Hi Sally, Congratulations on your new puppy! I'm sure you won't be disappointed with your decision ( it's a good thing to listen to your heart! ) Male or female you can't go wrong with a Labradoodle, I have one of each and they are equally wonderful!
