I posted some photos of Saturday's romp on my page and in the new pictures area. All doodles were *very* photogenic!

Well....aside from Erik, I've not seen much activity here or RSVPs so I won't be going myself tomorrow unless I know other doodle owners will be attending then...not as sure I can commit to Sunday.

Hi Erik....Bosco & I can be there the 9th at 8. Small dogs is fine with me. Sue/Murphy: you in? If so, bring snips (leave snails) and puppy Bella-dog tales.

Sounds like a plan to us! Bosco seems to think he's the same size as whatever dog he encounters - from to 3 lb. yorkies to 150 lb. mastiffs so I think he'd be okay in either size group, although personally, dainty little girl that I am LOL probably prefer the small side myself. Sue/Murphy/Bella - if you meant me, I'd love to be both places at once but I'll already be missing yoga that morning....unless we can combine it all into one big Yogadoodle romp.....

We like Chaparral park - the only problem is we went to the first romp there last year and the doodles were all on the Active (BIG) side. Megan, who loves to play and is a small medium, literally got run over by some very large heavy dogs. Not mean and of course not Doodles, but she was scared the rest of the time there. So we prefer the other side.

I have the same good experience at Chaparral. We go every Fri night at sundown and have never had or seen a problem. They have 2 huge areas for "active" and "passive" dogs which turns out usually to be big vs small dogs. Either one will fit our group perfectly I'm sure. Not sure what the smell was either but other than the usual dog smells I can assure you all they have fixed that. Hudson has a total blast there every week and I can't imagine there being any other problems. I'm totally up for any park but that would be my first choice being that we can choose either side (whichever might be less crowded).

Hi All, been busy with my new little girl as she arrived yesterday afternoon. Hasn't even been 24 hours yet so we are still getting used to eachother. She is a doll!!! Murphy is very confused but starting to get a little more involved with her. Loves her new toys. Anyway, Chaparral is very crowed and i agree with September although Murphy never got sick, but I think I am will to give it another shot. I can plan on Sat. and ofcourse will not be bringing Bella, It would be fine with me if you wanted to try a different park, just keep us posted Karen. My Arizona Doodle romp group is scheduled for the 9th as well, but I can move it to the 16th if any want to attend both. Paseo Vista is such a nice park that it's a shame not to hold them there too. As for combining, I like the idea of 2 in different locations to accomodate as many as possible. This gives everyone 2 options and I had requests for Scottdale area all the time, but I again prefer Chandler parks. Susan, you don't have an option, you HAVE to come to mine TOO. That's all there is to that, so there!
