i have a 6 month old Chocolate ALD also named Tigger. He was the most beautiful shade of milk chocolate as a young puppy, almost a red chocolate in the sun. The breeder expected him to become a cafe or a parchment, but his new coat is coming in dark chocolate - in a widening stripe right down the middle of his back! He looks so weird, scruffy and cute, all at the same time.

Our chocolate doodle was just born Oct.25th so we have a few wks to go before he is ours.......but, at least we will be able have him before Xmas...

Welcome to Chocolate Doodles. It will be hard to make it through the holidays with such anticipation for your new doodle baby. I have two doodles, and two is even better than one. Post some photos of Choco as soon as you get some. We would love to see your baby dood.

My chocolate labradoodle will be arriving Jan 2, 2009. We now have a cream GD who is so sweet. My chocolate is a male and will be 12 wks old when he arrives. We named him Choco latte and will call him Choco.

Seamus is one of the Walkadoodle babies... He is almost 13 months old. His color continues to be a very definite gorgeous dark chocolate with just a touch of milk to make him interesting! Love this site -- thank you. Nedra.

OH I JUST FOUND YOU GUYS!!! THE FOCUS COLOR OF MY BREEDING PROGRAM is CHOCOLATE!!!! I ABSOLUTELY ADORE MY CHOCOLATE's...THE TEMPRAMENT ON THE BROWN POODLES I Find to be BEST... I have a Poodle stud SHAMMY SHAMMY COCOA PUFF!!! HE LOOKS LIKE A GRIZZLEY BEAR!!!!!!!!!!! HE IS THE BEST DADDY!!! HIS MOMMY was a Brown who had a CD Title in AGILITY!!!!!!!!!! AND OH THE LABS!!! OUR CHOCOLTATE STUD HAS FIELD TRIAL CHAMPIONS All over HIS BACK GROUND...It is sooo neat to see thier babys when we have Retro's daughter GRACIE who carries his chocolate Champions and COCOA with his impressive pedigree produce Chocolate Labradoodles...They stack up like little show doodles!!!!!!!!!!!!! I Just about died when we had our first litter of sweet little chocolate champions....I had the color genes right...But you never know until they arrive....God Bless

Max is my one and only labradoodle. He is a gorgeous dark chocolate. He's only 15 wks so I'm sure he'll lighten some, actually his face is already getting lighter.

Abby is an 11 month old chocolate doodle. She is beginning to loose the puppy coat that had lightened. Her coat is soft and very curly...and she is a great lap dog.

I've got a chocolate doodle...well, she used to be at least....she is turning a cafe, or maybe a parchment...? She used to be a dark, rich caramel brown....now, almost a dulce de leche......she's still pretty either way....

Hondo, my first doodle, was the color of Honduras mahagony when he was a puppy - hence the name Hondo. He is now a nice brown color with the most beautiful eyes. He actually looks just like Samantha.
