Groucho Too sleeps like that all the time because he can see what is going on outside. He would hate to miss something while taking a nap. He looks like a big ol' cat, but Groucho is over 100 pounds.

Bruce Girl, I agree, I love this photo of Darwin solely because of how cute his paws look. :-) Lynda, That photo of Groucho sleeping on the back of the couch is hilarious. I've never seen a doodle sleep like that! Cute.

Okay, there is some irresistable fun happening here. Love these photo. Now Gavin is very much a puppy and is not allowed on the couch but when he crashes, he crashes hard and given his calm demeanor, I believe that he will be a floor potato when he grows up. Darwin's toe pads are so cute in his picture that I would love to tickle each one of them!

My boys are definitely couch potatoes. Hondo usually falls asleep on the couch every night (usually with his favorite stuffed toy of the day) and then comes into the bedroom early in the morning. But, he likes afternoon naps on the couch too.

In my house we are called "slug a beds" or "slug bugs". I don't 'think I want to put Gracie's head on a slug though!!!! ewwwwww

Seriouusly, my bed is command central. Reading, TV, paperwork, phone calls, doodle grooming. the list goes on. BTW, this is strictly frowned upon by the rules of 'Sleep Hygiene". The one thing I do less of now is eats snacks in bed since the doodle interest is too annoying--okay sometimes when they"re sacked out for the night I cheat.

In order to be totally accurate this would need to be called the "Bed Potatoes Group". I actually am more of a "bed potato" than a "couch potato" myself. When I read or watch TV, I'm always in bed. So, of course, that's where my Doods are. During the day we sort of share ownership of the bed. As soon as I say the word "cuddle" they know...off to the bed they go. Murphy can actually jump up, but he won't. He wants me to pick him up and lay him down on the bed just like his brother. This is our favorite place to be. They lay all over me, and I LOVE IT. So, Guinness, Murph and I are joining this group as the BED POTATO BUNCH.
