Welcome to the Dixie's Doodle Alumni group. Dixie has been breeding Austrailian Labradoodles for years now and I thought it would be fun to have a group dedicated to all the precious doodles that came from her program.

Let's share some info about our doodles! What litter did your doodle come from.. and of course, we want to see photos too!!

Welcome Stephanie (and Patrik). So glad you found us.... Please tell us about your doodle - I can see that Radicchio must be the father! How old is Patrick? He is super cute!

Susan... welcome to the Dixie's Doodles Alumni Page.... I am so happy you found us! Please tell us about your doodle. I have a beautiful red doodle from Scout & Radiccio's October 2009 litter. She is now 6.5 months... and an absolute joy!

Merrill I'm so sorry to hear that. Jett has never chewed things that are not his toys, but he likes to grab and run with underwear, dishtowels and things like that. It is for the game. If I don't buy into his game he will "leave it." He does counter surf and I'm not liking that. I tell him "off" and he will get down but if I'm not right with him, who knows? I'm grateful for dog toys and chews.

Oh Merrill how awful! I'm so sorry for Roy.

Ouch.... Merrill, that is a bummer - good reminder to us to keep watch.... always. I was so fearful that Shelby would turn it to a chewer and destroy things. Thus - I have an abundance of toys... all kinds for variety and I rotate some in and out to keep it new and exciting. She's never even destroyed one of her toys.... is a moderate chewer and I am thrilled. She isn't quite tall enough to counter surf, but she can now get paws on the counter and view what's around - but extending that paw or jaw towards an item... very limited. Of course, I immediately tell her to get "off" when she doesn't have all 4 paws on the floor.

My doodles have never torn up one thing except their own toys until this weekend. My husband wears a custom fitted night guard for sleep apnea (over $900). He left it on the kitchen counter for 5 minutes while he went in the other room. Sully (who has never counter surfed...ever) pulled it off of the counter and chewed it in a million pieces before we knew what happened. Ouch! Roy asked why was it that the first thing Sully destroyed wasn't a $25.00 flip flop. It was not a happy evening at our house.

Uncle Jett, well I will show him Malu's picture. Jett was 25 pounds at 16 weeks. We will have to see how big Malu gets by 16 weeks. I'm worried that Jett will be really big. I was hoping for a 40 pound dog. Of course I'm not sending him back:) He is sweet, smart and full of spunk. He is also a little brat at times. He keeps me on my toes. He makes us laugh a lot and that is the best.

Ok, Malu is Jett's uncle. I feel so much better now. :D

No wait, uncle? So confusing since Kona is out of Mudgee and Shadow is out of Marlee!
