What nice pics and funny stories.... My Doodle Cagney likes to play with Tammy.. he is 16 yrs old and not too interested in playing but he does like to have his ears cleaned.... poor Cagney wants to play so he barks at him and expects some action.... but doesn't get much... Tammy likes to hang around us when Cagney is getting brushed ...he also likes to have a brushing ...Tammy was brought up with dogs so he he pretty calm around them... but Cagney being a puppy still wants action action.... good Luck Cags....

That video and the pictures were taken back in January. The cat and doodle are still best friends/brothers. It is a very nice sweet friendship.

Meg! Your kitty looks EXACTLY like my Mal. :)

Murphy loves Mal (my cat) in the sense that Mal makes a very fun chew-toy. It's that excited puppy "SOMETHING TO PLAY WITH!" stage, where they want to play with anything that breathes. There's never any harsh feelings, on Mal's end, though, and it never fails to surprise me. The cat just gives Murphy his mind, twines under his legs, and hides under something big, where he can watch the dog and not be eaten. Gotta love a good-natured cat. :)

Ask me again if they're friends in a few years. By that time, I'm sure they'll be feeling the brotherly love. :)

I posted a picture of my dog Penny using the cat as a pillow, among others. Also, whenever I groom the dogs, one or two cats like to jump up and help...

Hello all, our puppy Bella absolutely LOVES our black cat Tucker. She loves both cats but Tuc is the only one who likes her back, while our other dog, Kit, just LOVES kittens. Cats are nothing special to her, but a new kitten is just heavenly. haha

What great pictures! Harlow really wants to be friends with our cat Cleo. But Cleo isn't too sure of Harlow. Cleo and our beagles get along wonderfully so I am hoping when Harlow is out of big bouncy puppy stage that Cleo will accept her.

Well Becky - in my opinon its o.k. to love your animals a little too much. It says a lot about your ability to show compassion and caring for all that has life - just one woman's opinion :-)
