Rigby is from Blackwood, born in Feb. Puppers- mom and Julius -dad. Super smart and funny!
I think that rules sophie and us out. sophie is beamer mom and Julius dad. unless Sophia is related to either of them.
who is bens mother and father.
Thanks Bob! We think she's the cutest puddle ever. Yes, I'm definitely going to get her groomed before she goes in. That's a great idea.
she is just a cute puddle of double doodle :) we didnt use anything after sophie got spayed jsut made sure anytime she would think about licking we told her no. I would think about going and having mattie groomed right before that way the vet doesnt need to shave anything down and she will be all clean since you cant bath her for a while after the surgery.
A delayed thank you to you all. I guess I need to check the board here a little more frequently! We're getting our rhythm down. Mattie's got lots of energy but she's also a little cuddle bug and loves to just hang out where ever we are.
We've got spaying coming up and I'm wondering if anyone has any tips for how to help recovery go smoothly. Anyone use an alternative to the E Collar? I'll check in with the Puppy Madness group too but I thought I'd see what folks here had to say first.
@ alex. Find brushes on sale now you will need them. brushes, rakes, dematters, and a detangling spray. A pile of dog towels by the door is a good idea to if yours likes to play in the rain mud or anything wet like ours does. starting grooming now is a great idea even if it just with your fingers to get mattie used to being brushed. research the groomers in your area to unles you plan on doing it yourself and the last thing is that mattie learn to love the hair dryer it is her friend not a mean evil monster that has come to eat her :)
Alex & Mattie - NARs need LOTS of play and exercise. We walk ours 5-8 mi per day and every couple of months she gets a new toy added to her basket. Mattie is a cutie!
