For those of you in the Tampa area there is a Doodle Meetup this Saturday at 3:30 in Lutz. The address is 3414 Melissa Country Way which is just off County Line Road. Future dates are posted on www.meetup.com

Usually somewhere between 8 and 18 doodles are there. It's held at the Courteous Canine Traing center and is completly fenced.

I see you are in Ft Lauderdale... Look for Ellen aka BeauBeau's Mom. She's in Miami Beach, and is part of a South Florida doodle group on that coast... I know they have meet-ups over there! Jack and I are over here on the West coast, so we don't make it over there...

Hello! I am so excited to find the South Florida Doodle lovers! We have had our little 10-week old redheaded Goldendoodle Margo for about a week, and she is a blast. I can't wait to meet up with other doodle owners and join in on events. I'd appreciate any info on up coming social things to do with doodles :)

Winston enjoys Rotary Park! He gets himself wet in the little plastic pools - then rolls in the dirt! Fun for him, not so much for me. I still have my doggy tag pass to the park for 2009 and we're looking forward to meeting everyone. Does anyone ever take their doodle to the Block Party at the Cape Harbor Marina on Tuesdays? We took Winston there several times but didn't see any other doodles - maybe our timing was off. C'Mon December! :-)

Sandy & Marla - Yes, it's Rotary Park, near Tarpon Point in Cape Coral. Off Cape Coral Parkway and Pelican.... So we'll have to plan a get-together when Marla gets down here in Dec! It will be here before you know it!!!

Cheryl, I will second the motion that the South Florida Doodle Romps are a blast! Beau and I wouldn't miss it for the world. Beau's birthday party is also coming up....held every year the first Sunday in November at the Aventura Dog Park.
