Thank you again, DK family! A while back, someone talked about their doodles favorite toy was a rubber duck head and body on a rope. I bought one today to take to the dog park Clover and I just joined and she LOVED it. I guess it's an early birthday present. She'll be one on the 19th.  Today was kind of fun. We had the dog park all to ourselves for most of the time we were there. I do not have a yard for Clover, so she was in doggy heaven!

We got a stuffed toy for Huff in December and guess what it is still alive. He does chew it a lot, but it dosen't have one rip in it.

I just got her a left over Halloween toy from Petco. Its a fabric covered ball with the crinkly tail on it. ( The ball part is a head of dracula). She loved it and played with it all night, now that tail is already detatched from the ball.... :-(

We carry a similar toy in the store where I work. Also check out another frisbee-type dog toy called a ZISC. It's made by WestPaw out of their patented Zogoflex material. It's a fun, floatable, DUIRABLE toy. Here's a link....

Wow this is cool... I love it! Where do you get it? on-line or in stores?

Was it something like this?
Comment by Chad Stanton on August 4, 2010 at 6:00pm
Hi everyone - I am Chad, I am new to this group and DK. Hope it's OK for me to jump in with a question. I am teaching my dog, Sheba, to catch a Frisbee. We saw a guy on the beach over the weekend with a frisbee that was hard rubber around the circumference and nylon/canvas in the center. It was kind of floppy and seemed to be easier for his golden to catch. I didn't get to ask him what the brand was or where he purchased it. Has anyone seen or have this? Hope this makes sense!
Comment by Laura & Chewie on May 13, 2010 at 6:25am
Yes, so can Chewie. It is really a shame, because many months ago before he started destroying toys, Skineez were his favorite. He would just carry one around in his mouth squeaking it. Now he systematically removes each squeaker and tears apart the rest. He usually leaves enough in tact to carry around for awhile...LOL.
