Anyone up for a romp at Blydenburgh or anywhere else on Saturday?

Sorry was 3 pitbulls. Guess they were playing with each other and then Sonny came by. They jumped on him and were very aggressive. What really upset me (well all of it upset me!)  was only 1 of the owners did anything, the other 2 did nothing and I wound up in a screaming match with one of them. Sonny is very playful with other dogs but with put his tail between his legs if scared. He's a lover not a fighter. lol

What happened with the pitbulls? Did they hurt him??

Sonny would LOVE a big playdate. We had a bad experience at Blydenburgh last time we went, 4 pitbulls against 1 doodle. Sonny is passive in that, way but he loves the lake part of it and he loves playing with other doggies.

Count Casey in. We've never gone to a romp before or a dog park for that matter. But I would love to see some other doodles!

I would love to get together with another doodle owner but Aylah would be a bit intimidated by a full-on large dog doodle romp.  One-on-one with a gentle large dog or with a smaller dog would be a nice place to start.

So, Shelley & Ron...I know you both are close....maybe we can meet up at Blydenburgh Park one day?! I've said it before  - LET"S DO IT!!! And of course any other LI family that would like to join us....let's get some potential dates & ROMP!

I'm here.... dodging the rain drops today!  Nothing exciting.. working, cleaning,helping the kids with homework  and dodging the bullets headed toward teachers lately.... LOL

Would LOVE to do a romp, but Tori's such a scaredy cat and does NOT do well at all in the car.  We live in Smithtown by Vets and N. State Pkwy and she can just about make it to main street in Smithtown for her grooming appts. w/o getting diarrhea... I really have to work on the this spring!!!  Thanks for checking in on us Long Islanders!! :O)
