Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
In conversation with other DK members I have found that there are a lot of fun links out there to get bling, countdown calendars, backgrounds and other fun stuff to build "My Page" with. I think it would be fun if other members shared their secrets!

Linda, Toby looks adorable in his Santa hat and Cathi has a beautiful voice! The song is wonderful! Thank you for sharing it.
Seeing all of your wonderful Xmas home pages inspired me to do something. :) I put up some pix of Toby as a puppy (with a Santa hat), and a song my husband arranged/produced for our friends/family.
The vocalist is our good friend, Cathi - Rosemary Clooney's niece. (Yes, George's cousin.) Every year her aunt Rosemary would record a Xmas song to share with their family. "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" was the last one she recorded for them, so it was especially meaningful to Cathi to get to do this one this year. I hope you enjoy it!
I agree that it may be the theme you've selected, Debbie. Normally when I select the tile option, I get my graphic on both sides.
Debbie, I've had this problem before, too. Sometimes it is the theme. You may have to try a different one. Have you tried to add the image as a background?
Thanks, Nancie I have tried tiling the graphic but no luck. I went into the options tab again this afternoon and tried tweeking settings, but nothing I did put the holly on the right side. You all have beautiful pages where the graphics go completely across the page, but I can not get mine to do that. I wonder if it has to do with the theme I am using.
I think when I tried to do something like that I had to go to PS and make an 81/2x11 workspace. Then I cut/pasted to make the border on either side. After that I started adjusting the size based on how it looked on the DK page. It required a lot of back and forth with sizing, checking, sizing, checking. I also think it has to be a background or else a "repeat" or "tile" or something like that. It has been a long time since I have gone into the page and worked with it so I am not clear. Maybe Nancy (Ned & Clancy) will come on tonight and help you out. She seems to be the wiz at this!!!!!
I wanted to put the holly border on both sides. when I use the options tab, and add the image to the side bar, it only displays on the left, do I need to use this a background somehow, or how can I get this to show up on both sides? Do I need to put it on as a background, I want the rest of the page to stay the same, I just want the holly borders on the sides. Any suggestions would be helpful.
Dori, thanks for the info in regard to the music! I have to take my time and try this before Christmas gets here!!
Thank you all for the help and suggestions. I used the Pure Dark theme, and tweeked all the other settings in the All Options tab. After several hours, I finally got it figured out and my page is done.. :-) (The only thing I couldn't figure out is how to get the leaves on the right side of the page..) Thank goodness DH was home today to keep Toby busy... :-) I also took a picture of the settings from the "All Options" tab before and after the changes so I should be able to change it back without any problems. I really enjoy looking at all of your pages, You can tell you have all put a lot of thought and creativity into your pages.
Thank you very much for all the help and suggestions. Hopefully sometime this weekend I will have some time to work on this. :-)
