You can look on line at Poodle Day - Carmel, CA but it is basically a one-day affair with a parade at the Barnyard (shopping area) and then lunch at many restaurants in Carmel and a play day at the beach.  I always go to the bench at 9th St. above the beach and take photos at about 12:30 to 1:00.  (There should be some on my blog is you want to see past romps.)  Then more photos on the beach and make a Smilebox for anyone who wants one.  The play day is more down around 12th St., but the whole beach is open from Ocean Ave. to 12th St.  It is a very dog friendly beach, thanks to the wonderful residents of Carmel.

Or, if you are a little further south, come to Carmel for Poodle Days on the same date, Saturday, Sept. 27.  Doodles and poodle mixes are welcome.  Parade in the morning and beach play date in the afternoon.

SF Doodle Romp on Saturday, September 27th at Crissy Field. 10:00 AM.

Meet on the field across the street from The Sports Basement.

We'll romp on the field then head over to the beach for some surf and sand action.

Please spread the word. Please bring poop bags and fresh water.

For those who want to stay longer, we can also take a stroll to the base of the GG Bridge and have lunch at The Warming Hut.

Although we would LOVE to join everyone in Alamo (we have actually never been to the park) we have had a neighbour's Doodle puppy with us all week and they won't be home until Sunday ~ I can't reach them and don't feel comfortable taking her without their permission. 

Please do this again soon!  We would love to meet some new Doodles.  Vicky & Jamaica

Don't say you couldn't give up the foster - trust me,  you will be sad but feel so GREAT for helping save that dog's life.  Most of the dogs we rescue are not in safe places and their time is limited. We are so thankful to rescues and their volunteers or we would not have Clancy or Junior in our lives.
