I know, I just want to cry  :-(...I wish I could take him.

I'm attempting to get the info sent out to about 2800 more people on a doodle site similar to this one.

This adorable guy is at the Summit County Animal Shelter and it is a high kill shelter with a terrible reputation. I can pull thi guy myself but I can't seem to find a foster :-(. My daughter has severe allergies and asthma and I just can't take the chance if I don't have something in place. Does anyone have any ideas?

Cody is just over 3 yrs old. He's white, 35 lbs., neutered, up to date on all shots (vet records provided) and very well cared for and loved. He has learned agility in 4H, he's earned the Canine Good Citizen award and he is obedience trained. He has a crate, that is his den, he loves it. He is housebroken and very well mannered. He sits to be petted, he stands at the door to be let outside when he needs to go potty. He loves walks and heels nicely, he loves jogging and running along side of me while I ride my bike. He loves the water and playing fetch. He sits pretty when it's grooming time and he's got a beautiful woolly coat.

He's is an awesome dog, but here's why we are re-homing him. He has issues towards guarding random things. We never know what that item might be that turns on his aggression which has made it very hard for us to train him. We have never abused him or mistreated him, we love him very much!!! We have 3 kids and lots of family and friends that come over with kids. He loves kids, and has been great with ours, but I don't think he should be in a home with children. We had a trainer come to our home and said he is an "easy fix", but having children around during his training would make it difficult.

So here are the stipulations for a suitable home:

1. NO CHILDREN
2. YOU AGREE TO WORK WITH A CERTIFIED TRAINER (NO CESAR MILAN METHODS)
3. HE NEEDS EXERCISED A-LOT.... - A JOGGER, BIKER, OR A PERSON WHO LIKES DAILY WALKS WOULD BE PERFECT
4. I WOULD NEED TO VISIT YOUR HOME
5. RE-HOME FEE $250 - This includes all his stuff (crate, bowls, collars, leashes, toys, treats and food for a month.)

Hi everyone, we are new here and not really from Ohio.  We are from Michigan but got our mini labradoodle from Ohio.  I'd love to meet some others that got their labradoodle from the same place as us.  We got her Lauder Doodles.  Anyone else here get their labradoodle from there?  Can't wait to chat with you all!

I'm excited to meet all of you, and I don't even have my doodle yet lol.  Does anyone know when the next Cleveland/Akron area Romp will be?  I am hoping its after Barkley gets all his vaccines so we can come play :)
