She's a medium ALD, 6.5 months and 24.5 lbs.  Breeder originally said 30 lbs but that seems on the low end with her being nearly 25 lbs at 6 months.  Anyone want to share their growth experiences?

Our breeder told us Murphy is a Miniature Doodle.. the thing is, he is 42 lbs and 7 months old. I think he is going to get huge!

I am also curious to know what others have to say about growth patterns!

Murphy is definitely NOT a mini! Oh my goodness!

From my understanding, Doodles can and often do get larger than their parents. Murphy sounds like his size will match his personality :) Jewel weighed 34 pounds at 16 weeks so I should be able to double that and add about 10 pounds to find her adult weight.

Tenley is 27lbs at 6 months old. His parents are 27lb & 45lb. I think he will wind up 35-40lbs.

At 6 months old, a non-toy, non-giant breed dog is usually 85-90% of their adult height and 65-70% of their adult weight. So if we say your girl was 24lbs at 6 months, then she should weigh 34.28-36.92lbs full grown.

Paul..our LD is 4 mos. and she looked big and was supposed to be 25-30 and seems small.........yet her paws are so big it makes us laugh!!!!! they look like paws from shepard!!!! he is long though and iam not sure how big he is going to get now...........he almost trips over his own feet ..............! so iam not sure I can help with how it will turn out....we're still waiting too to see just how big he will get..............................I will post pic later he is also black and his face seems soooo small too...............hmmmmm

I thought Bob was going to be 40-50lbs. I believe he was around 45-50 lbs at 5.5 months. He's now 10 months and 75-80 lbs!

These two websites were fairly accurate.

I tried these and Ragley already weighs more than her "expected adult weight" it projected and she is a standard and not even 7 months old yet! hah I guess every dog is different and especially these doodle puppies!

Boomer is nearing 25 lbs at 4.75 months. He is supposed to hit 50-55 lbs. He's still growing substantially larger- I know because I have to carry him outside every few hours to potty (he broke his leg last week) and I can definitely feel the pounds packing on

What was the weight at 4 months?

I think she was around 17 lbs

The general rule is to double the 4 month weight and give or take 10 pounds.
I predict if you double this weight, you will have a good idea of your dog's adult weight, 34 pounds. (You add 10 pounds to the equation for large breeds but it looks to me like you have a medium sized dog.) In any case you have a really cute puppy!
