We brought our baby girl home this morning and she is the sweetest puppy imaginable! Today went much better than I thought....she slept in the car almost the whole way home and slept or chilled out most of the day. She came out of her shell around dinner time and had some fun with her new toys but it only lasted about 15 mins and then she crashed again. She did that another two times and now she's conked out at my feet. She went potty once in the house and twice outside! She gets all wound up and zoomie when she has to go out, so if that keeps up it should be pretty easy to tell. She loves being on my lap which is heaven! I'm guessing she was so chill today b/c it was a huge, overwhelming day for her so I'm reserving judgement on her temperament til she's settled in a bit. My kiddo (3.5yrs) did awesome too considering it was a huge day for him too and he didn't nap. He was a bit frustrated that she wouldn't chase him or play fetch like he was anticipating and I there was he was definitely feeling a little piqued at the amount of attention I was paying her. All in all a brilliant first day! Stay tuned.....I've read enough on here to know I'll be ranting and raving soon enough. ;-)

Ahh, what a sweet report. Congrats! Very pretty little girl... have fun, and try to get some rest in when you can!
She is beautiful! Congratulations. I know you are going to enjoy her every minute. Please post lots of photos.
How cute. She looks like a darling little stuffed toy. Sounds like a perfect first day.
Congratulations! She is adorable!!! :) You're gonna have so much fun with her!
What a little cutie! Such a sweet face. As I was reading through your post one thing stuck out to me a little bit so I'm going to offer a little unsolicited advice. As much as you can (as I know he is 3.5) I would teach both Son and Lupin no chasing. I know it will be really cute and really fun to both of them at the moment, but in a few short days/weeks the biting with those razor sharp puppy teeth is going to become and issue and running/chasing is going to make that a huge problem. Might want to come up with a few other games (like fetch) that will make your son happy and teach him not to run to get Lupin to chase him.
