Toulouse is my first doodle and I am crazy about him. He is 3 mo old, smart, funny and full of mischief...sound familiar? I am an artist and want to find a groomer. I live in the Mission Hills area. As we progress, I would like to keep him in a puppy cut, but know for sure I would not be consistent or good at it. I want to start getting him use to grooming. Any good groomers you would recommend? Thanks

CANCELED:   Arbor Dog Park on Saturday, February 19th due to rain and mud!  So sad, but there will be another one the next Saturday at the same park!  Look in the Events section!

Hi everyone, I got an email asking for a suggestions for a groomer in San Diego. I am teaching a class on grooming. We are looking for a place to hold the class. DOODLE GET-TOGETHER SCHEDULED FOR DECEMBER 28TH AT LAGUNA CANYON DOG PARK HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO RAIN AND MUD.  HOPEFULLY WE CAN RESCHEDULE THIS FOR DRYER WEATHER.

Hey dog people- DowntownDogLover.com is hosting another fido-friendly pup crawl and costume contest on Saturday January 23rd, 2010. We want to invite you and your costumed canines to join us.

Who: DowntownDogLover.com
What: Hillcrest Pup Crawl & Doggie Costume Contest
When: Saturday January 23, 2010 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Where: Starting point is Terra Restaurant, in the Uptown District next to Trade Joe's.

Details: Dogs and their humans can crawl from one dog-friendly establishment to another at their leisure. Each venue will feature a signature drink (like cosmo-PAW-litans) or drink specials. Local pup pleasers will be on site also to give away treats and other dog delights. Human participants will receive a Pup Crawl T-Shirt* and drink specials. This event will also feature: costume contest and doggie giveaways.

$20 Fee to participate- If interested, please email info@downtowndoglover.com or call 619-238-0538 by January 18th to be able to order your t-shirt. Walk ups day of will be $25 and shirts are not guaranteed.

*Must be registered 1/18/10 to receive your Pup Crawl t-shirt. Both men's and women's cut t-shirts are offered. Doggie tanks are available for an additional $12

There will be a Doodle Meet-up on Monday, Dec. 28th at the dog park in Laguna Beach. So far there are quite a few people from the So.Cal group showing up. Check the So. Cal group page and the information and directions are there. It is at 10 AM!
