Hi San Diego Doodles, One of our So. Cal members Nancy Haver and her Labradoodle Ned are down our way staying in Chula Vista. We are planning to meet this Wednesday (July 15th) at 9:30 AM at the Montevalle Park in Chula Vista. I Googled it to get the directions. 840 Duncan Ranch Road, Chula Vista 91914. We would love to have anyone interested join us. Just look for two Apricot Doodles...one very large and one very small...and three English Springer Spaniels. We will all be there. We are also planning another meet this coming Saturday but the time and location are to be determined. Ned Doodle's sister lives in CV and she wants to meet up so it will most likely be at the Montevalle Park again or at a park near her home. We will post it once we know. We would love to have a bunch of Doodles to play with so hopefully you can make it to one of the meetings.

I am looking for a groomer in the East County area of San Diego. I have an 11 week old goldendoodle and I know I will need a groomer that knows what they are doing. Any recommendations?

Today is Sunday 6/7/09 I am going over to the Kearney Mesa Dog Park around 4:30. anyone want to romp with us? I'm the gimpy one with 3 black & 1 white biiiig loving doggies. Puppy love from Joy & furry folk

Gracie Doodle and I would love to come to a Doodle Romp. I have been dying to get her together with "Doodles". We live in Point Loma but traveling any distance is not too much of a problem. After all , we are traveling every Tuesday night to Escondido for a 45 minute Agility class!!! I haven't a clue where a good place would be to hold the romp. Didn't one of the members mention they lived in Escondido and had property??? That might be a good place to go. I'm guessing weekends are best for most people. I am pretty tied up with mini travel plans and the weekend dates that work for me are April 4, 5, 18, 25, 26, May 2, 3, 9 or 10 (Mother's Day).

Please keep us posted. We would love to do it!!

I'm compiling a list of recomended San Diego vets
Then I'll go down the list & price an extraction. Karma, my standard poodle, matriarch of my breed has a broken back molar & needs a spay. My vet is horribly expensive for dentals & spays. Hi everyone, unfortunately I'll be working that weekend and can't make it for the doodle romp 10/4. Would love to be kept in the loop for the next one. I'll be receiving my Winston this weekend. So we'll be up for a romp on 11/08!
