Great photos, as always, Nancy! That looks like a nice little park and not too crowded. I wish I could have made it, but Stevo (schnauzer) is having lymph node issues and I think the vet just made them worse with a biopsy. Now his entire neck is swollen up. Grrr. Still waiting for results. If it just turns out to be an ongoing infection, I'll be sorry we didn't just treat with antibiotics. 5 months of trouble ever since dental surgery/absessed tooth.

We can't join. :( Camus is too young I think (10,5 weeks). We will go in September for sure. Have a good time!

The park is not large, but grassy. There are a couple of covered picnic tables people sit on.  It will be very cool with both big and little doodles.  Ned's sister Ruby, is going to be there and I am very excited for them to play together.

Yes, we are meeting on Sunday (tomorrow) at 10:30 at the San Marcos Dog park.  We would love to meet you!

(This Christmas picture HAS to go!!!) Saw a note this morning about a romp in San Marcos tomorrow morning--now I don't see it but if it's still on we'll bring Tassi, Keela, and Java over. We're about two miles away from the park on Montiel & would love to meet some new (to us) Doodlers. Keep hearing that the L.A. traffic mess turned out to be MUCH less of a problem than expected and publicized. Maybe everyone took the advice and stayed home--except for all those who came south to San Diego.

We are going to be in Oceanside, so hopefully south of the problems. As a side note my son has a summer job as a pilot truck driver for wide load equipment.  He is working lots on this project! Last night 13 hours to get everything in place for tonight's closure. The team is off tonight and then they work again the other nights moving equipment from one place to another as they tear down and build.  Hooray - he needs some college money....

I am going to see if Nancie can meet on Sunday.  I will post as soon as I hear from her.  We are going to be there from Saturday through Wednesday - we could meet up any day.  I don't know when the dog park is closed for maintenance.

Monica, take Mango everywhere you can think of to expose her to 'stuff.'  Take her to sit outside a store and watch people, sit on a park bench, walk her on a street with and without traffic, sit outside a school as students are coming or going, blow bubbles and see if she chases them, invite neighbors to greet her. We are going to be in Oceanside from Saturday to Thursday and would love to meet up with others - I am going to contact Nancy Casey and Gracie doodle. When I am in Oceanside we have met at a dog park in San Marcos just off Nordahl.  If we do get together, I will post it here and would love to meet any of you.

Bella seems to enjoy other dogs that are a bit smaller than her with around the same temperment as she. Though, she let a Chihuahua freak her out the other day.  She did attend puppy school at Petsmart Huntington Beach (Luna the trainer is a 17 year pro and awsome trainer!)  Bella graduated last week and will be starting intermidiate this week with the same group of puppies that also graduated..We have found that if you find a great trainer, and have Mango meet and greet the same pups week and week it would help.. I hope to meet you and other doodles her age at the next romp.  This will be the first time that she we meet her own kind!  Looking forward to meeting you all.  We had her last set of shots taken today..YEH
