It was great to meet Doodlekisses Members and their Doodles at the Malibu Doodle Romp. It was a perfect day, with Oodles of Doodles, yummy food, fun contests, and a live auction. Doodles of every size and color mingled under the oaks.

Message from KATE PAPPAS ~ ATTENTION DOODLE DAY PEOPLE!
I KNOW EVERYONE IS ANXIOUS TO RESUME OUR DOODLE DAYS AT OUR NEW LOCATION!

THE SEPTEMBER DOODLE DAY WILL NOT OCCUR DUE TO A PERSONAL SCHEDULE CONFLICT. THEREFORE WE WILL RESUME AND BEGIN AFTER OUR SUMMER BREAK, ON SATURDAY OCTOBER 24TH WITH
FUN, FOLLY AND LOTS OF DOODLES.

Thanks to Sharon Steele and all the others who put on another great Malibu Doodle Romp. it is awesome to see all those doodles together!

I think to play safe you want your Doodle to be 4 months old or whatever age they are when they have had all their puppy shots. Also, since they are still very small and shouldn't be over exercised by too much running. I read that Doodles shouldn't be walked great distances or run until they are close to a year old. Nor should they jump and leap. This is because their tendons and ligaments are still too loose and they can get injured. So, with this in mind, a ROMP would depend on the level of playing your Doodle does. If you are safe with the shots then give it a try. You can always take your Doodle and leave if the play is too rough.

How old do our puppies have to be before joining in the romps? Is 16 weeks pretty much the safe age?

Hi Shannon. Looks like we're neighbors. I'm in Fullerton and I'll contact you whenever we are getting together. We often have mini doodle romps at my home. Watch for Kate's Doodle Romp under EVENTS.

Hi Sandy, Welcome to Doodle Kisses. Isn't it a great website and community. I truly was so excited to have found this site. I live in Tustin and have a 1 yr. old Goldendoodle Lucy. We'd love to play some times.
