I have company until tomorrow afternoon, so I will post some pictures of the romp after that. As a tentative date for me, the 20th is good. I can't totally commit though because of holiday obligations that might crop up.
First we enjoyed lunch with 8 owners and 10 doodles. Babbie brought 2 adorable chocolate puppies that had their private meal on a bench in their play pen then went back to her car for a snooze.
We had 14 Doodles at the park today. Helen & Kirby arrived after the photo shoot. See a photo of Kirby in DOODLE ROMP Nov 16.
We missed meeting Paul and Zoe, Lisa and Riley, hope you can join us at the next romp.
Drew is wearing our official Doodlekisses shirt.
How many would be interested in having the next Doodle Romp Saturday Dec 20th?
Toni, I think most of them on Ocean Blvd because of the dog shows they have every year. With Long Beach you have to be careful of the areas. Have you checked bringfido.com. I've always had luck with them.
I'm not sure if Paul ever put his link up with his photos. He's not "Mr. Social Media Guy" http://krugmanphotography.fototime.com/Doodle%20Romp%20@%20Arbor%20...
Gwyn, Prenisone is a weird drug. When I was on it I was looking for things to do at 2 AM, which is very unusual for someone who sleeps till 8:30 AM. I had so much energy I borrowed our neighbors chain saw and when I told Arnie I was going to cut down our 10 foot tall tree Arnie didn't want me to use the chain saw and told me "if you cut off your thumb I will never speak to you again". LOL
I'm so glad Kona is getting back to his normal adorable self. Prednisone does send strange messages to our bodies when used.
Al, now that he's down to 1 pill every other day as I'm weaning him off, he is acting a lot more normal about his food. Still eating faster and more of his morning serving at one sitting but now he isn't moving over to Maggie's bowl to steal from her after he's done with his. He is still one pound under his high weight before the incident, so I'm keeping an eye on it. but he does FEEL heavier. It's good to see his old habits coming back.
prednisone makes dogs hungry and thirsty. You have to watch their weight. Nice photos. Thanks for posting.
