Great job Jolene! And congrats on Sassy winning the photo contest. I voted for her. :-) Funny that she is running around like that and happy and free. But I know that feeling of going from long dry hair to a short hair cut and I just keep touching it!
THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR YOUR VOTES, SASSPARILLA WON THE MARCH PHOTO CONTEST!
Came home from a long Vegas weekend to the gift cards for both Sassy and me. We need to plan another beach romp in San Diego! Ü
Thanks again.
BTW, we went to Arbor dog park yesterday and they finally opened the enclosed area where the grass was growing but much to my surprise the closed off the entire other half (right down the middle) of the park! The area that was closed and our area is it! Not sure why the cut it in half, it's gonna get really cramped come warmer days.
Today we got adventurous and gave Sassparilla a haircut. First time on her, I think we did pretty good and compared to the last professional grooming we did a hell of a lot better. Her face and ears I'll admit I tanked. I'll need another tutorial on face grooming.
She now reminds me of the puppy she once was. Josie wasn't too sure of her new look, spent about 15 minutes looking her over and sniffing her. lol
After the grooming we bathed her and she followed up by running circles throughout the house for a good half hour, must feel good to be clean and without all that old dead hair.
Here's a before and after.
Al, I am so glad to hear that Latka is on the mend. What a relief for you. Latka, don't eat those squeakers!
