I'll be bringing Maggie. She "passes" as a doodle and I'd never separate her from Kona. (Maggie is the white one in my profile photo). When I adopted her, it was because I heard from a doodle rescue site that she was found and was a goldendoodle. She still doesn't know she isn't a doodle, so don't tell her. (She is half American Eskimo Dog and the other half is a blend of big ancient herding breeds. The Briard Sheepdog shows up the most).
Helga: We typically stay pretty late, so no worries.
Would love to make the drive up there like we used to every month but I have a class at 3:00 and wouldn't ever be close to being back in time!! It is 1 1/2 hr drive for us! Maybe next time!
Emma, Ask Yvette if you can bring your Sheltie brothers. We would love to meet them too.
Got it. Thanks, Carolyn!
I sent the following invite to everyone in our S. CA group.
Let's celebrate Valentine's Day a day later with our four legged sweethearts at Arbor Dog Park in Seal Beach on Saturday February 15th. Gathering time is 12:30 to 3:30 PM. Come when you can and stay as long as you want. Suggested items to bring: a chair, camera and water for you and your doodle.
I would prefer if it started later, though. I have to work until 12. Won't be able to get there until 1:30.
Looks like it works for us too.
I think Feb 15 would work for Kona and Maggie. They miss the doods!
