Okay then, my guys will be the test cases. We haven't washed them, but we washed out their eyes and ears with drops and ear cleaner. Gordie kept putting his snout in the water - what was he trying to sniff? He threw up water yesterday twice. Their poo is fine.
So far Gracie Doodle is fine. I am in San Jose but I told my DH to keep an eye on her while I am gone. The salt water always gets the dogs who swim a lot. Runs for sure and throwing up too but not as much as the runs. The three doodles that were in the water the most were Gracie, Sassy and Enzo...Gibson too I think but not as much. It is the ones who are retrieving things that take in the most water and that would have been Gracie for sure and Sassy, though Enzo did a good job following Gracie in and out of the water like her shadow! We did wash Gracie the minute we got home from lunch and we also always use the ear wash after baths or swimming. She was still fine 24 hours later when I left for the airport! So sorry that none of us saw the sign or were aware. I do know it is a problem every time after it rains. They always close the beaches for a few days. Hope all the other doodles are doing OK. It was such great fun!
Well that might explain why Sassy isn't herself. Puked a little water yesterday after our walk and her stools have been runny! If it's not the cat or dog it's the other dog! Time to break out the pumpkin and yogurt. Josie is still on antobiotics so I think she'll be fine?
Yuck about the water at Ocean Beach ......
Southern California is really in need of fosters, not just for Rue. You can apply to foster a dog for the DRC. Here is the link:

But you want to read this first:

Rue is a real sweetie. She isn't a mini but a medium.
I don't see any photos either of little Rue
