Hello all. Thanks to Lynda for suggesting this group to me!
I am an occupational therapist who works in the educational setting.
This is the first summer I have actually taken the time off and it has been the perfect opportunity to find and train our new puppy. Luke is our only pet and out first ever Labradoodle. I am thrilled to have found him and within these few short weeks have absolutely fallen in love! I am also thrilled to have found such a great community of doodle lovers and look forward to learning and sharing more in the future!

Finally time to spend with my favorite kids...my new baby girl, Loki, and my 3 year old ,Shayna. I got out the hiking maps, ready to explore Rhode Island and Shayna pulled a leg legiment, and I just spayed Loki...so I am sitting here reading the DoodleKisses and seeing what's up.....Have a great summer..we are on the mend..

Ro, that is going to be added to my list in September. I keep 2 on my 2 main tables and then one at each computer but I should have them just bring their own to keep at their desk. Better yet, I will just buy all the mini ones and give those out.

It has been months since I have been to this site. What a poor caretaker I am. I hope you all had a reasonably good school year, I know with all the layoffs and budget problem that things are tough. At least we all have smiling doodles to come home to.

Oh NO! Doris!!! Nasty germs!!! Now on my school supply list I ask for each of my students to bring in their own antibacterial gel, and NO MORE sharing snacks, either! I'll stick with this for September as well.

Ahhh . . .the germs. This fall I added handwashing first thing in the morning to our routine, hoping to avoid the flu. Who got the flu?? Not one of my students - just me!! Have a great summer everyone!

Oh Ali! So funny. We build up immunities of course. I was very seldom sick after my initial years in kindergarten. But things like lice, impetigo, and pink eye just give me the creeps. My son had them all. Yep, lots of washing is about all you can do. I loved doing summer camp for migrant ed when I was teaching. It was in a regional park and we went on great hikes every day. The autistic children should love to have a therapy dog in their camp. Go for it.

LOL! I think it will be fun if there were doggie summer camp!
I do the summer camp for the autistic APS. I want to bring in the therapy dog this year. ( Too bad it cannot be Charlie!! She gets aroused so easily!!)
