Wow he is going to be a big boy. Buddy turned one in April and weighs 53 pounds. They say double the weight at 4 months and add 10 pound to it.

Hi! I was just wondering where the dog park's are in Virginia Beach? We had our last set of shots last night and the vet said we can now go whereever we want! Yipee! Oh, and Motta gained 12 lbs in 4 weeks :) He is now 47 lbs and Miley is 37 lbs.. she only gained 7 lbs! Now I know Motta is gonna be a big puppy if at 20 weeks he's already 47 lbs! lol..

I would love to meet everyone! Leslie, where did you got to Obedience class at? Mine could use a little training :) they certainly don't know what "come" means and they need to learn. I am also right in Landstown meadows behind the shopping center. You should bring your doodle over to visit!

We are mostly potty trained. I think My male Motta gets overwhelmed sometimes and forgets where he is but that's only occasionally. Miley is potty trained. We just started leaving them out at night and when I wake in the mornings and go searching for "presents" but so far so good. I bought clippers and plan on grooming them myself. Motta is around 40 lbs too and Miley is about 35 lbs.

I'm so glad to hear from everyone about how the dogs/puppies are doing!

Atticus is doing well. He's 5 months and right at 40 lbs. He gets snipped on Aug 18th. He graduated from his puppy obedience class. (So smart and quick learner!) We went to our first doggie park last weekend and he was so well behaved. Atty met my husband for the first time a couple of weeks ago when he got back from deployment. They get along famously! All is well here. Potty training is a done deal. We still haven't let him have full reign in every room yet. He still sleeps in his crates both upstairs and down. He has been for baths and pedicures at Petsmart at Landstown Commons a couple of times, but we'll probably go to the Shipp's Corner place on London Bridge from now on as I think his adult coat is poking through and I'm worried about them knowing how to groom him properly without making him look like a poodle all the time. :-)

Is anybody up for meeting at a dog park in September after things cool off?

Doing great! Seamus is turning out to be one tall Dood, but still a lightweight ;). He's keeping us busy, but a very smart boy!

Hey, did someone on here mention which groomer they go to in VB or Norfolk? I'd like to get Atty to a groomer to "socialize" (get him used to it) soon. :-) I thought I remembered it, but can't find where.
