Does the foster home have to be in Toronto? I am in Muskoka and could put the word out up here?

DRC (Doodle Rescue Collective) is looking for a foster home for a doodle in Toronto.  Please contact Kate:  http://www.doodlekisses.com/profile/Kate168 if you are able to help out.

Hi everyone, I live in Burlington with Milo my 10month old choc labradoodle. He has a lovely soft spiral fleece coat which we've not had cut yet. I was wondering if anyone knows of groomers in the area who can scissor cut him. I don't want him clipped as I've read it can grow back in with tighter curls and I really like the look and flow of his current coat.

Hi All,

We are Crystal and Ken and our Golden Doodle is Lucky Las Vegas.  I live in Las Vegas and we belong to the Las Vegas Area Doodle Group.  Ken lives in Toronto/Etobicoke so we go back and forth between both places. We are in Toronto now.  Our Lucky is18 months old and we got him as a rescue when his first family returned him to the breeder because he has a pretty serious eating disorder called Mega Esaphagus.  We have him pretty well stabilized and other than having to eat vertically, he is as active and playful and healthy as any other Doodle.

Does your group have any Doodle Romps or events planned for the rest of the summer?  We would love to meet you all.

Can anyone recommend a good groomer in the Davisville area?

Lucas, I'm not in your area but we have a great article on What To Look for in a Breeder here: http://www.doodlekisses.com/notes/What_To_Look_for_In_a_Breeder  -- read it carefully and check out the links to get you started in the right direction.  As far as price, F1 labradoodle/goldendoodles are least expensive at about $1200.  After that price goes up for smaller size, higher generation, and Australian labradoodles (which are far more than retriever + poodle).  Mid 2000's, though is the highest I've seen.
