I wish I could be there but my mom will be here from CA and that is the only day I can see her. I hope I can come to the next one. By the way can you let me know if I can use my power chair at each of the parks? I can't walk a long way but I really want to come to the romps.

Please join our July Doodle Romp for the Northern Utah area. We will be meeting at Tanner Park (near Parley's Way) midday on Saturday, July 17 (please RSVP). The off leash area is behind Tanner Park and all dogs must be leashed as they walk through Tanner Park. We will meet at the bench in the main open area. Be sure to bring water and a towel (there is a creek running through this area so your dog may get wet). click here for a map

Yes, Tanner Park should still be open (I understand the city council will be meeting more about it in July). Let's meet there until one of us has an opportunity to check out Jordan Park (conditions, restrictions, etc). Seems like a good location for the hot summer because the dogs will be able to cool off playing in the water!

I haven't. But it sounds intriguing. Is Tanner park still open, just out of curiosity?

The first weekend is a holiday (4th of July), the second weekend Camilla & Darwin may be gone, and that last weekend is another holiday in Utah (Pioneer Day), so I think that leaves the third weekend (July 17) for a romp. Since the last romp was in Ogden, let's do this next one back down in the Salt Lake area. Has anyone been to Jordan Park around 900 South 900 West?

We are going to be gone the weekend of the 11-14, but I think any other time is good.

Darn it! I can't believe I missed it! I guess I've been so distracted with our new puppy that I just completely forgot about it. And I wasn't even doing anything else instead - I was just hanging out at home. Can we please try again at the same location next month? What Saturday in July would work best for everyone?
