We'll be bringing our baby girl home on May 8th! Counting the days!

Tomorrow we get to visit with the puppies. We have to wait for the breeders to make their picks then we get to pick. I can't even begin to tell you how excited we are!

I know what you mean about the nerves, Katie. We just picked up Charlie this morning and before we left the house I had all this nervous energy as I ran around getting ready.
Charlie's been sleeping a lot so far, though. Our breeder told us that an 8 week old pup sleeps from 18-22 hours a day! That gives us enough down time to stay on top of things...at least for now. :)

Hey Everyone!
We are expecting our new puppy to come home on April 26th.
I'm so nervous! I really don't want to screw this dog up! I swear, I was not nearly this worried bringing home a baby!

It is hard to wait but I am reading while I wait, too, and planning, preparing - so excited and yet nervous, too. I think the apprehension can get to you! But, once we have that pup we won't have time to read, right!? So, good we are learning now for their sake... I'm with ya. ;)

Pam, I think I and many others can sympathize. I've been waiting five months, which really isn't long compared to some. But, it seems like a long timr. It is worth the wait and how great that you are boning up and getting ready.

I don't get my pup until July. Have been waiting months. Have names picked out for girl or boy. Kind of hoping for a girl. I am ever so tired of waiting. I think I shop on line daily for something new. My one bed room looks like a pet shop exploded. I just keep learning and reading.
