Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
This group is for those of us with puppies or dogs who look far more like the Golden or Labrador halves of themselves than the Poodle half. This group is for us to recognize the Poodle traits that shape our dogs while sharing experiences.

Watching it snow!!! Lulu is now 8.5 months. We had her cut shorter for winter thinking that would help with tracking snow in and out. Her coat is starting to grow back very quickly and a little curlier than it was when we cut it. I was surprised at how soft she was while short. The coarse retriever hair is returning on the top of her back. I’m not sure if she looks curlier to me because it is short or if maybe she is changing some. Still shedding like crazy!!
OMD! Archie is absolutely adorable! Yes, he does resemble Pippa quite a bit. I have LOTS of pics of her on my page.
Hannah, check out Lori ‘s Pippa. Pippa and Archie resemble each other.
Oh dear, I think I messed up my previous post - you'll have to forgive me, I'm new here!! Ok, let's try again:
Archie is our lovely 9 week old goldendoodle. He's an unusual mix - mum was curly goldendoodle, dad was purebred retriever. So he's kind of 75% retriever which is what we wanted. We're thinking at the moment he's looking more like a golden although he has a poodle-y muzzle. And yes, he sheds! Anyway, we were just wondering what you guys reckon he'll look like when he's all grown up? The breeder said shaggy rather than curly which is what we're hoping for. Although we love him so much and honestly really don't care about his appearance- we love him to bits regardless! But it's fun to guess! One of my favourite things about doodles is how unique they all are and the many changes they seem to go through as they develop! Anyway, it will be interesting to hear other's opinions!
Hamilton is a handsome dood! A beautiful happy face!
