Thank you for your comments regarding Holly and her collar.

We get the collars at a local farmers market where our animal shelter has a booth. The profits from the collars go to support the shelter's activities. The collars are fairly reasonable in price and go for five dollars. I am wondering if they ever thought about selling the collars on eBay?

I will stop by the farmers market on Monday, 11/5/09, and ask if there is a way that people can order these collars online. The lady who makes the collars can produce a collar in just about any colors and just about any size. We have this one in Fall colors and also a red and green collar for Christmas. This Monday, I am going to order a red, white and blue collar for Holly to wear on patriotic holidays.

Holly really gets a lot of positive attention when she is wearing that collar, even more than when she wears her green "Therapy Dog in Training" bandanna. While we think hat Holly looks smashing in her collars, we are not keen on the collar we bought for our Maltese. The collar is just too much for a little dog/ All you see is the head and the collar walking along. The collar hides the dog's little body.
