Dee Dee, I'm not sure what Sheba's coat color is for sure. As far as grooming, I'll let their coat grow for the winter. Duke doesn't mat much but Sheba does some, especially when she swims. So, I don't have too many problems maintaining their coats. In December we'll be heading to Florida for Christmas. I'm sure I'll be putting in quite a bit of time grooming Sheba after they play at the dog beach every day. Last year she was going through her coat change AND got very matted from swimming. She was a mess! It took hours to remove the mats!
We keep them on the path when walking so there are very few burrs. Recently they got into some burrs and it took Mike and I a couple of hours to get them all out. They were little tiny ones....all over their body. I love having two dogs. They are great friends and I love watching them play! Good luck with your decision, DeeDee

Wow. What a gorgeous picture. Is the grey called phantom. The combo is STUNNING. How on earth do you keep these guys groomed now that fall is here. Even Lil Sheila just gets full of burrs. I had to cut some out yesterday there were so many clusters. How do you like having two. Contemplating a sister for Sheila and then I panic.

Graduation Picture? It is so beautiful it almost looks fake/graduation picture like :) But we all know better around here

Thank you Debbie. I just noticed that the background looks kinda like a backdrop (don't know the term photographers use) that a photographer would use to make it look like someone or something was in that area. Kinda reminds me of my high school graduation picture with the "fake" backdrop! lol
