- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- Our first experience with a Goldendoodle was at an airport.. The dood was being trained as a companion to an autistic child. It was bright smart and had such a big nose.... Looked so goofy, my husband and I thought if and when we get another dog we are getting one of those.
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- Play fetch with new squeaky fish. Hold her bully stick while she chews it and most of all snuggle..
- Does your doodle(s) shed?
- Nope!
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- I do for now, but will use the local groomer, who has groomed doodles before.
- Favorite Doodle Products?
- Snuggle Puppy!!!! Bully Sticks and just about anything with a squeaky in it...

To say it has been a crazy month or so, is putting it mildly...
In mid-Sept. my DH and I went to look after our two grandsons for a couple of weeks. I had been very stressed over Sophia's biting and nipping and was going to buy a muzzle, to keep the little ones safe from those razor sharp teeth. Sophia surprised us both as she was extremely gentle and loving to the boys. Yes, she loved to play and jump but did not nip or bite. My daughter also has a very old and gentle boxer that…

I am Thrilled to say, I have finally seen real progress in Sophia the past few days, yeaahhhh. She finally gets it when I say "NO BITE" and removes her mouth. I have been concentrating on that particular "bad habit" all week and letting some other issues slide, for now. As some of you know, I will be looking after my two young grandbabies and was extremely worried about her nipping/biting issues. Wow who would have thought that one puppy could turn my world and house upside down!!!
We picked Sophia up on Wednesday.. She was as good as gold on the 3 hour car trip home. The first night was a tough one but she has now settled in to only getting up once in the night. Great for me getting my beauty sleep and let me tell you, at my age I NEED it....

Sophia is just adorable!!!
She's a cafe sabel miniature Australian Labradoodle. The photo shows her with her coat groomed short for summer. Edmonton is great, except for the harsh winters! We're Aussies so it's taken us some time to get used to it!
