Hi Jess and Stewart
We are friends (I think), so you may PM me if you like. I did not get any messages from you yet, but since I am writing on your page, I think you can now write on mine.
Hi Jess,
I just wanted to let you know that the Les Poochs brushes (all sizes) are now available. You asked me about them a while back and they just had the launch of the new brush. We have them available at the Doodle Country Store - www.doodlecountry.com
I'm sorry it took so long to get them....the company moved production from Europe to the USA and it took much longer than expected.
Thank you!!
Kemp
Jess, if you do decide to rehome Stew, please do it through a reputable and safe Doodle Rescue group. There are two, IDOG and DRC. It is really very important that his next home be his last home, and that he go to an experienced dog owner who is committed and able to properly care for him. The rescue groups have resources to ensure these things, including thorough screening, and legally binding contracts that will prevent Stew from being passed from home to home or ending up in a bad situation. If you have any questions or need any help, please let me know.
Happy birthday to Stewart!
Hi Jess,
Thanks for asking about the Les Poochs brushes for Stewart.
The Green brush will work best when his coat is 3-inches or shorter, but for the longer-length coat you will likely need the firm Purple brush.
Brushing his coat won't make his coat grow in any less frizzy, but after a good brushing the entire coat does become more fluffy and more uniform in appearance.
I'm not sure if you are aware that the Les Poochs brushes have not been available to the public since late 2012. The company shut down production while they relocated from Europe to the USA. They have not yet set up production here in the USA, and the brushes are still unavailable. I am in frequent contact with the Les Poochs company, and I will be receiving the first available brush shipment whenever they do resume production (if ever). The brushes will then be available again on my website www.doodlecountry.com
I have a very long list of customers that are waiting to be notified when the brushes become available. If you would like me to notify you by email when the brushes are available please feel free to send me your email address - you can send it to me at Kemp@doodlecountry.com
Currently, I have only the Les Poochs bathing products and luxury pet fragrances in stock. :-)
Thank you so much, Jess.
Warm wishes,
Kemp
Hey Jess, accept my friends request please. :)
Yes, it is very hard for dogs who are left at home alone during the day. He is definitely bored and frustrated. Doodles are high energy dogs. Is there a daycare facility in your area? It is a great place to leave dogs off for socialization when you are away from home for long periods of time.
Sorry jess--I do not go to my page that often and did not see your comment--next time, message me and I will see that in my email. I hope things have gotten better for you and Stew!
Hi Tess and Stew!
I think the crate covers that are made for that purpose are tighter fitting and more difficult for them to pull into the crate but I have heard of dogs that still manage to chew them!

Yes, dogs seem to really like having a routine so once he learns the new one with you working he might settle down some. Tara's crate was inside of an ex-pen and we usually left the crate open if we were gone so she could move about and stretch out and play with her toys while we were gone. We videoed her a couple times when we were gone and she usually spent her time pulling the cover off of her crate and then snuggled up with her toys and slept! This was after she was potty trained though!
