About Me:: I am a PT teachers Aide for Autistic children. I am married, I have 2 children & 1 doodle.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: I have a Goldendoodle named GUS. He is 5 yrs old & the sweetest boy you'd ever know/

Where did you get your doodle(s)?: Breeder

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: I just saw him & fell in love. I heard they shed less & are smart & sweet (which he is). I'm soo happy I chose a doodle!

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: My doodle is my shadow. He is always by my side, unless I'm out where he cant go. He loves walks & playing fetch.

Does your doodle(s) shed?: A little bit but nothing major

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: Wags To Whiskers Pet Groomers

Relationship Status:: Married

I haven''t been on the website in quite some time. Im glad its still going strong. Doodles are the best dogs!!! I wanted to share that I lost my Gus last July. He was 10 yrs old and had gotten a rare tick disease and mustve had an underlying illness because he became anemic. It was also immediately after having a Rabies shot and the Vet said that only progressed things. So it was the hardest day for me as I couldnt bare to see him suffer so we had to let him go. ALL DOG OWNERS::: GRATEFULSHEDANTLERCHEWS.COM sells Moose, Elk, Deer & Caribou Alntlers for dogs to chew. They're shed naturally & have NO smell & actually have some nutrients for dogs. THey also dont split/crack/splinter & last long. Dogs LOVE em & they are NOT expensive!! MY DOG CANT GET ENOUGH OF HIS :)

I got Einstein from a shelter as a puppy and had a difficult time finding a name for him -- he was "Baby" for quite some time. One day while playing with him I noticed a particular book in the bookcase, a biography on Albert Einstein, a perfect fit. And, I read a lot, which is how I came up with Nietzche's name. Had it not been for Nietzsche I would not have Camus. In Nietzsche's honor I wanted to name Camus after another philosopher. Camus was a member of the French Resistance and my Camus is a bit stubborn (resistant) and my son lives in Paris, a perfect choice.

You must ASK for training. Ask to visit other autistic classes or one-on-one aides. Does the district have some in-district inservices, even if they are marked for teachers? The biggest thing to remember is IMMEDIATE response to their cooperation with you. I used to use m&m's or fish cracker or something small but definitely food oriented. Did they teach you about Pics for the non-verbal students? My husband (also a teacher who taught an autistic class) can give you other tips if you want. Private message me.
