About Me:: After living in the Orlando area for more than 25 years, we've moved to our second home on Hutchinson Island full time. Hutchinson Island is just east of Fort Pierce. Life here is much less hectic but so much more fun for my Doodle Sam. He can swim in the ocean every day, which is his favorite, and ride on the boat any time he wants.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: Sammy is a medium golden doodle, 40 lbs, just 1 1/2 years old. He is exceptionally smart and lovable. He loves to swim, travel, ride on the boat and be with his people. Sam is a favorite at many of our local restaurants and loves to dine out.

Where did you get your doodle(s)?: Breeder

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: Their wonderful temperament, non-shedding coat and their beautiful appearance.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Go to the beach, swim, ride on the boat, walking, dinning out, almost everything. This year Sammy was the featured dog at the annual Orlando area AIDS walk.

Does your doodle(s) shed?: Nope!

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: Shelly @ All Star Groomers in Fort Pierce

We are moving with hope that she will do better in Hawaii. She seems to always improve when we are there. She has considered training one of our doodles as a therapy dog. Kona is 94 pounds so won't fit in the luggage area, and we will have to ship him in cargo. I hate the idea of that option. We are moving in three months. I'm not sure we can accomplish all that lies ahead for the move plus train our big boy for therapy. It's worth checking into though. Thank you so much!

Are you in a private plane with Sammy looking out the window. If it's a commercial flight how did you get him in the cabin? Is he a therapy dog? We are moving to Hawaii and have to fly there. I hate to put the dogs in the luggage compartment but have no other option that I am aware of. Just curious.
