Nutro definitely makes nice firm small poops. I fed it for 19 years. When I first switched Jack, I tried Wellness Super 5 Mix and he did not do well with it at all. I then went thru Nature's Variety and Fromm's he did well with Fromm's but his specialist wanted him on Grain-free.
I would keep trying with the Orijen a little longer. Give it another week. Make sure you are not overfeeding, Orijen is nutrient dense and you feed much less of it than you do Nutro, so check that you aren't giving too much.
Checl the amount, stay with it for another week, and let us know how it's going.
