I had a lab and she would get in the crib with my daughter and was always a willing bath buddy. Too cute how dogs just understand small people.

Hi Stephanie,
I just joined Swimming Doodles and was reading your note about the yeast in the ears. My Coco has that problem and often gets it in the spring and the fall, even when she has not been in the water. Bri never has that problem, but Coco has had it, in her right ear only!, since she first came to us as a baby. I keep a bottle of C 1/0 Ear Cleanser and a tube of Remicin Ointment on hand at all times, you can get it from your vet. Mine know that she has this problem, so just refills it when I need it. During the summer when they are in the pool every day I just use the Ear Cleanser once every few days as soon as she gets out of the pool and I watch them real close. If you smell a problem starting 1-2 dosed of the Remicin will do the trick. If you use the Ear Cleanser and dry them good with cotton, you will not need the Remicin very often.. Take Care.

Do you just smear a small amount of peanut butter in the tip, perhaps? Does it keep your doodle occupied for a length of time? I jam a Science Diet cookie in our regular sized strong Kong. It keeps them going for hours. I like the p'nut butter idea - just wonder how much to use.
