What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: Eddie, 9 and a half. Bettylou, a 6 month old who joined our house last June. She is a spitfire!

Elmo was a year younger than Eddie and was really struggling with the side effects and meds of Addison's Disease. I had to have him PTS in 2015.

Where did you get your doodle(s)?: Breeder

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: Love the personality and look of the doodles.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: hike, dog parks, relax with Eddie on my feet. Currently chase Bettylou around the house.

Does your doodle(s) shed?: Nope!

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: Unfortunately for them, I do

Had to say good-bye to Elmo this week. He'd been sick since last summer, and we just couldn't get his meds right. Or, rather, his system just wasn't happy on meds. Eddie and I are just hanging out today. Eddie is loving getting ALL the attention, and I'm still expecting Elmo to come bounding into the room. Not fun.

Why is it that every time, that's EVERY time!, I have stayed in a motel with my dogs, past and present, I am given a room at the bottom of a flight of stairs? Does the motel management want my dogs to be obnoxious? Do they want me to get no sleep? Do they think I like hearing all the conversations as people carry their many loads of luggage up and down the stairs? Do they think I like getting to hear everyone's footsteps as they travel above my head to their various rooms?

So, last night I had a dream that I was at the doctor's office at the end of my appointment, and the doc was writing up my prescription, which was that I needed 4 dogs and 1 cat. He wrote the numbers of the animals I was to take home and sent me off to a warehouse to get them. My family and I spent ages rummaging around through this awful, dusty warehouse, full of pets in cages and dusty bags of food, looking for my "prescription" animals. He was alone for about three minutes. I don't know any other way at a rest stop because the dogs aren't allowed in the building. If I could, I went to restrooms at gas stations where I could take him in with me. Fortunately it wasn't too hot in the places I stopped.
