Thank you for the friend request! I think most of us on DK feel the same as you do about animals. That's one of the things I love about it! And I'm the same about the circus and zoos too-won't go near them.

Thanks Jeanne!  Great idea with the leash and thanks for the reminder about the meds.  I hadn't thought of that but of course she'll be a little wonkie for a couple days.

My husband and I stopped by a groomers place that is really close to our home today. We had Charly with us. We all went in to check out the place and ask a few questions. She was very nice. I told her that Charly was an Australian Labradoodle. She guessed a Labradoodle which was correct. I was please she knew the breed. She was not aware however that Charly is a "small" doodle. She didn't know that there was such a thing as "small" doodles. That concerned just a little. I told her for sure I didn't not ever want Charly to have a poodle cut. That I was interested in her having just a puppy trim to begin with for sure and that I really liked her look right now. So that I wanted to maintain as much of the look or the shape that she has right now. Her hair seems to be loose wavy, with a bit more curly around her legs and head. I love it, but who knows what will happen when her adult coat comes in.

While we were there I allowed her to clip her nails as she desperately needed them done. Not even a peep out of Charly! So that was a good sign.

We are just learning where the dog parks are......we're going to one at Alexander and Teneya tomorrow....will go anywhere in town to meet up with other Doodle owners....we are loving our boy so much.
